In this blog, you will learn how to make tutu Easter basket with the help of tulle and ribbon.
Material that you need to make this Easter Basket:
- Tulle Fabric
- 4 yards of 7/8 inch Pink Satin Double Faced Ribbon
- 1 Pink Gerbera Daisy (Flower)
- Glue gun
- Glue sticks
Step 1: The very first step you’ll need is to dress up a basket. Though if you can’t find the perfect pink basket you’re looking for, not to worry about that pick up any old basket, you can quickly spray with pink paint.
Step 2: After your basket is completely dry cut the tulle fabric into 12-inch strips. Using two layers of tulle at a time so as to slide the tulle from the spaces in the basket and connect with a slip knot.
Step 3: Repeat this step all the way around the basket in alternating colors of tulle (or all one color, if you prefer).
Step 4: You can also use needle knob in some spots that help you in dragging the tulle through a gap in the basket.
Step 5: After that when you have completed binding the tulle all the way around then cut down all extra fabric so that all of your tulles is even that gives a perfect look to your basket.
Step 6: At this point, you could certainly call it good and done. But if you want to add some extra ribbon, you can use 7/8 inch of Pink Satin Double Faced Ribbon.
Now paste the end of your ribbon and secure it to the base of the basket handle with the help of hot glue and slowly wrap the ribbon around the handle.
Step 7: When you reach another side of the basket handle trims the ribbon and seals the end. But make sure paste the base of the basket handle with the help of the hot glue.
Step 8: After that cut, two 12 inch pieces of ribbon, closed the ends and tied a simple hoop on each side of the basket handle. Then paste Gerbera Daisy flower at the center of the bow and hot glued the bow to the center of the basket.
Fill this beautiful basket with cakes or make one for every little girl you know, have fun and enjoy! You can also use it for embellishment purpose.
